Extraordinary and individual clothing, with both traditional and modern features, were presented by Kilian Kerner and his label KXXK during the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Berlin.
According to Kilian Kerner himself, his AW 2020 collection is inspired by fairytales. A leading role plays Bibi Blocksberg – the main character (a witch) of a German audio drama series for children in which the designer himself has already taken a part. His main thought was: How would Bibi Blocksberg look as an adult? This has inspired him to travel through all fairy tale worlds and to interpret them from his point of view.
The red thread is indeed visible in the entire collection and show: Often you can recognize individual elements which remind you of certain fairy tales.
But even long-established guests will enjoy themselves in Kilian Kerner’s new theme world: Many models and also the music were not the first time a part of his presentation.
