Lufthansa crew dresses up for Oktoberfest

Munich, Germany – It’s time again: The Oktoberfest in Munich starts next Saturday. In keeping with this, the crew of the German market leading airline Lufthansa has given itself a new look and presents the traditional Trachten-crew.

This year, the world’s largest crew in traditional costume will take off for the first time in Lufthansa’s largest Airbus, the A380 – with a total of 21 flight attendants.

But not only in the airline’s flagship it’s possible fo you to become part of the Bavarian folk festival, on other selected European flights there is also a chance to see one or the other flight attendant wearing a traditional costume.

If you’re not flying with Lufthansa but still want to get a taste of the new uniform, you don’t have to worry as in Terminal 2 passengers will also be greeted on the ground by Lufthansa passenger support staff in traditional costume!

The Bavarian Oktoberfest is the largest folk festival in the world and is known for its social get-togethers and beer consumption.
