Berlin, Germany – Fashion lovers went back to University: The SS2020 catwalk show of Marina Hoermanseder, the Austrian designer that is known for her unique designs including buckles, was themed like a prom. Hoermanseder creates conspicuous looks that are loved by Hollywood stars like Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga.
With big banners in front of the location, the Designer welcomed the ‘students’ aka. guests to the ‘University of Marina Hoermanseder’.
Well-known attendees enjoyed the smell of sweet popcorn, pink drinks and the performance of cheerleaders which increased the feeling of actually being back in school. Hoermanseder managed to turn a sport area into a hip and colorful runway where the new collection was presented by models that were accompanied by funky 80’s and 90’s pop music. Neon colors, glitter and colossal loops, combined with Hoermanseder’s popular corsages and strap skirts. Compared to old collections, some of the pieces are actually more elastic, which solves the problem of sitting and wearing them at the same time.
Not only Hoermanseder, but also the whole team of the designer put loads of love into the collection and the show – every detail was well thought-out. The show ended with a big bang: a banner and confetti showing the thankfulness of to say thank you to everyone.
