Fashion in 2020: Yellow accents will bring a fresh breeze into your outfit not only during this year’s summer

Lemons are sour – the sun is warm. Just as contradictory as acid fruits and the pleasant rays of the sun is the colour yellow itself. Even when at first glance one might think that the colour is very bright, garish and luminous, it still has a relaxing effect on the observer. It is a colour that polarises – just like fashion in 2020.

Already for Spring Summer 2020 it was predicted that bright tones will be the order of the day. Back then on runways, the colour yellow played a major role; even whole garments took it on. In Autumn Winter 2020/21, yellow will be integrated into various outfits again, but not quite as much as in the first half of the year.

Whole outfits were dedicated to the colour yellow – and were an eye-catcher no question. However, this will change in the course of the year. Yellow accessories are the keyword. Not everything in the coming season will revolve around them, however, they will still play a significant role. They are not used to support the entire outfit, but to draw all eyes to themselves as they are the highlight.

Sunglasses, belts or small handbags: Combine yellow accessories this year with minimalist outfits, which with their simple colours or patterns form a good background to highlight the shrill “extra”. We are already curious how designers reflect this trend in their collections and consumers in the style of their outfits.
