Simple and healthy: Lemon water will change your everyday life

The day is already almost over and “oh no”, one has again forgotten to drink enough. If one thinks about drinking plenty, sweetened drinks are somehow often on the shortlist. We think that this shouldn’t be the norm, and today we will show you how to get enough liquid every day in a healthy and enjoyable way.

Lemon water not only looks and tastes good, but is also healthy as the drink ensures a good metabolism and balanced digestion. Your heart, muscles, bones, teeth and nerve cells also benefit from the healthy drink. Additionally, it also gives your body enough fluids, detoxifies it and ensures that you have more energy to complete daily tasks.

The production of lemon water is very simple. You can distinguish between two different ways of preparation: One can either mix water with lemon juice or add lemon slices instead of the juice.

Water with lemon slices
Put one liter of water into a sealable container, such as a carafe or bottle. Cut one or two lemons into slices. The lemon should be organic. Add lemon balm and let it steep for at least an hour in the fridge. Ice cubes can be added when consuming.

Water with lemon juice
Put one liter of water into a container, such as a carafe or bottle. Cut 3 to 4 lemons into halves and squeeze them out with a squeezer. Add the juice to the water, mix the whole and enjoy with ice cubes as you like.

Ginger as secret ingredient for burning weight
Ginger-Lemon-Water is ideal for losing weight. To add ginger, it is peeled and cut into thin slices. Make sure to use organic products. Boiling water is then poured over it and it should steep for ten to fifteen minutes. Anyone who wants can sweeten it now with maple syrup or even honey. Finally, the lemon juice or lemon slices are added.

One to two liters of lemon water a day will help you support your daily fluid requirement, which is about two to three liters for adults. Lemon water offers the perfect alternative for sugary drinks – especially when the weather is hot – and is a healthy and delicious drink.
