Becky G, Akon, Mabel & more: MTV announces performers of the 2019 MTV EMA

MTV started to announce the first performers of this year’s EMA, including megastars like Halsey, Rosalía, Becky G, Akon, Ava Max and Mabel.

Halsey, performing “Without Me” last year at the show, is nominated for three EMA categories: “Best Collaboration”, “Best Pop” and “Best Look”.

Spanish artist Rosalía is also nominated for “Best Collaboration” and “Best Look”. In addition to that, she might also win the award for “Best Video” and “Best Push”.

Becky G will not only host the 2019 MTV EMA, but also support global superstar Akon on performing “Como No” from the singer’s first Spanish-Language album “El Negreeto”. Talented artist Becky G is also nominated for “Best Pop”.

After getting more recognition in the last year, London based nominee Mabel could win the award for “Best New” and “Best Push”. Mabel will perform her song “Don’t Call Me Up” at this year’s event.

Another superstar performing at the 2019 MTV EMA is Ava Max, following MTV’s premiere of the music video for her latest dance-pop single “Torn”.

It will be the first time for Becky G, Ava Max and Mabel to perform on an EMA stage. You don’t want to miss this, so don’t forget that the show will air live from FIBES Conference & Exhibition Centre of Seville, Spain on Sunday, November 3rd at 9:00pm CET.
